MentorsForBusiness.Org aim to provide a platform for experienced business people (mentors) to connect with trainees , students, apprentices and learners (mentees) towards personal and community development. It is a place for business people to give back to their community or to share their skills, experience, trade and ideas with each other.

Yes there is a need for competition and competition in itself can even be healthy. However MentorsForBusiness.Org belief there is a need for a critical balance between competition and cooperation. Cooperation through sharing of skills , method and technology touches more people for better outcomes in a shorter space of time.
MentorsForBusiness.Org recognize that while we have provisions that others need we also have needs that others can provide. For example you may be a business who wants to make a career move to the management level. You may be a manager who could assist or advice a junior business to make their next career move. MentorsForBusiness.Org aim to facilitate capacity building for vulnerable communities by helping them to organize resources to meet needs within. You may be a looking for a little advice to make the move to the next level in your career or business. You may be an experienced worker, trades person, or business that can give something back to the community by assisting a junior person to have the break through to their dreams. Either way MentorsForBusiness.Org aims to facilitate the process. Whereas coaches and tutors may charge for their services there is no charge involved in mentoring.
If you’ve lived and learned, there are people out there who could benefit from your wisdom. Don’t keep it all locked up inside your head. Knowledge only has value when it is imparted. It’s a great way to volunteer and give something back, and it’s a really meaningful way to enjoy communicating with others in need. Coaching and mentoring have a lot of similarities. They involve the development of activities that suits the specific need of their client’s which may be develop an aspiration, performance or productivity. They help the client to refine , tunes and develops the necessary skills. Can focus on interpersonal skills, which cannot be readily or effectively transferred in a traditional training environment. In the process of enabling their client a coach or mentor may link their client with contacts and networks to enable them to develop their career or other aspirations. Coaches and mentors transfer their skills to their client without actually doing the job for them.
The main difference is that mentors share their skills, acknowledge and experience with other individuals who have similar interest in a field of work or discipline. On the other hand it is not necessary that a coach would need to have experience within their clients specific field of work.
By contrast a consultant may focus on an organisations developmental needs, the practices, processes and structures involved. The consultant’s role is defined and often used to initiate and design broad ranging change programmes. Consultancy frequently involves expert advice about specific issues and organisational processes. Consultants are often brought in to provide specific ‘solutions’ to business problems and needs As such the consultant may direct the course of work job for the organisation.
